Justin Bieber a spus intr-un interviu pentru publicatia GQ ca nu ar schimba trecutul sau si ca ar repeta aceleasi greseli.
Artistul a declarat ca toate controversele sale publice l-au ajutat sa isi defineasca personalitatea. In acelasi timp, Bieber a mai spus ca piesa "Sorry" nu reprezinta o scuza pentru greselile sale.
"People ran with ‘Sorry’ being me apologising with the song. It really had nothing to do with that. It was about a girl.
Everyone, when they start growing up, realises ‘Man, I did some dumb shit when I was younger.’ It’s not just me. If I could go back, I wouldn’t really change much. I think it’s all my journey. That stuff made me who I am. I had the correct papers for the monkey but, in Germany, that monkey’s endangered or something. But I had the papers. I even had it written out that he was a circus monkey who could travel, all that shit. I had all the right papers, but things get twisted. Everyone told me not to bring the monkey. I was ‘It’s gonna be fine’, but it was the farthest thing from fine. I’ll get another monkey one day, but I have to make sure I’ve got a house and that it stays in the house.", a mai spus artistul.
