Carrie Underwood a primit trofeul `Entertainer Of The Year` la gala Academy of Country Music Awards 2010, devenind prima femeie care reuseste sa obtina aceasta distinctie de doua ori.

Lady Antebellum si Miranda Lambert s-au numarat de asemenea printre castigatori, plecand acasa cu trei premii de fiecare.

Carrie Underwood, ajunsa celebra cu 5 ani in urma prin intermediul show-ului American Idol, a primit in cadrul Academy of Country Music Awards 2010 si un premiu special – Triple Crown.

Distinctia i-a fost oferita deoarece in scurta ei cariera a castigat deja trei trofee de top: `New Artist Of The Year`, `Female Vocalist Of The Year` si `Entertainer of the year`.

La categoria `Entertainer Of The Year` din cadrul Academy of Country Music Awards 2010, Carrie Underwood i-a avut ca rivali pe Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Keith Urban si Zac Brown Band.
