Editia din acest an a premiilor Soul Train Awards a fost difuzata in acest week-end pe canalele de televiziune si a desemnat cei mai buni artisti soul din lume.

Printre castigatorii galei se numara Usher, Alicia Keys, Eminem si B.o.B.

Usher si Alicia au fost cei mai premiati, cu cate doua trofee fiecare: cantaretul a plecat acasa cu distinctia Album of the Year si Best Male R&B/Soul Artist, pe cand Keys a primit premiul categoriei Best Female R&B/Soul Artist si Record of the Year.

Usher s-a intrecut cu Trey Songz pentru Best Male R&B/Soul Artist iar Alicia a impartit trofeul Record of the Year cu compozitorii cu care lucreaza, inclusiv cu Drake.

Eminem a castigat Best Hop-Hop Song of the Year pentru `Love The Way You Lie` iar B.o.B a adjudecat titlul Song of the Year pentru Nothing On You.

Soul Train Awards 2010 au avut loc la Coob Energy Performing Arts Centre din Atlanta si au fost gazduie de Terrence Howard si Taraji P. Henson.

Concertele serii au fost sustinute de Ne-Yo, Bruno Mars, Keyshia Cole, Cee-Lo, Tank si Jazmine Sullivan.

• Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year: "Love the Way You Lie" - Eminem ft. Rihanna
• Album of the Year: "Raymond vs. Raymond" - Usher
• Record of the Year: "Un-thinkable (I'm Ready)" - Alicia Keys, Aubrey Graham (Drake), Kerry Brothers Jr., and Noah "40" Shebib
• Best Reggae Artist: Gyptian
• Centric Award: Janelle Monae
• Best Gospel Performance: Marvin Sapp
• Best Dance Performance: Ciara - "Ride"
