Noul album semnat Usher, `Raymond v. Raymond, nu va mai fi lansat pe 21 decembrie, asa cum se anuntase initial.

Lansarea a fost amanata pana la o data ce va fi comunicata ulterior, casa de discuri Jive Records asteptand momentul potrivit pentru a scoate discul.

`Este un album puternic si credem in el. Vrem sa-i pregatim lansarea care i se cuvine`,a declarat un reprezentant al Jive Lavel Group.

Primul single promovat de pe discul Raymond v. Raymond se intituleaza `Papers` si in prezent ocupa locul 2 in topul Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.

Precedentul album Usher, `Here I Stand` a fost lansat in 2008 si a avut vanzari de peste 1.2 milioane unitati, potrivit datelor furnizate de Nielsen SoundScan.

Cel mai bine vandut album Usher ramane cel din 2004, `Confessions` - 9.7 milioane exemplare.
